He has no sense of justice. Bruce Wayne is fucked in the head from watching his parents killed in front of him. That's why he gets off on playing these never-ending games of catch-and-release with Gotham's worst psychopaths.

Think of how many people have been killed because he won't put a permanent end to The Joker. It's got to number in the thousands by now. And that's just one of the many villains he uses to feed his addiction to vengeance.

Batman is not the good guy. Gotham really has no good guys.

The Dark Knight is a "deep" film for 15 year olds. Once you start maturing a bit you begin to realize it's actually an awful film with so many plot holes that it starts to fall apart entirely, with only Heath Ledgers Joker remaining on the high bar.

I tried rewatching The Dark Knight last year and couldn't finish it, the dialogue is atrocious, the action scenes are laughably bad, stiff, unimaginative, and dull. Christian Bales Batman is fucking unwatchable, his voice is cringe worthy, his Batman looks skinny and stupid. Batman has caused so much destruction and so many potential deaths, but he won't kill this horrible terrorist that keeps killing people, but then at the end he kills Harvey Dent because he has a gun pointed at a kid.

Then to make an already dumb movie even dumber, Batman "takes the blame" for Harvey Dents murders, because for some reason, the people of Gotham will... be angry? Or upset? If they knew Harvey Dent was a murderer? Or something? So Gordon throws the man that literally just saved his god given son under the bus, and calls on all the police force to take down the Batman, and it ends with Batman fleeing a crime scene.

where did that batman go? batman's sense of justice is inconsistent

he also kills every member of the league of shadows(except for one who ends up being a villain who kills people) in the beginning of the film. if batman had let that fucker die he would saved lives
