Spider-Man 3 wasn't as good as Spider-Man 2, and was a disappointment because of it, but looking back, SM3 was no worse than your average run off the mill MCU movie or shit like Suicide Squad or BvS. Yet, all those crappy movies are getting sequels, but Spider-Man 4 got cancelled? Makes no sense. Spider-Man 3 didn't even get terrible reviews and was a huge blockbuster success. It's just one of those things I'll never understand. Same with the Tim Burton Batman films. Why did it end after Batman Returns? That film made $$$ and got great reviews, who cares if it upset parents and wasn't child friendly?

It sucks that Raimi and Sony couldn't work something out.
