Go secure the Hollywood Wax Museum then the Real Doll facilities.
My plan is to use the wax sculptures to replica the looks of celebrities I like as real dolls.
Of course some of these will be for sexual purposes, but not all.

I'd then travel and collect as much technology as I could on robotics and attempt to fiddle together some sorta basic mannerisms/movements.

Mostly you'd have to worry about fuel. There are plenty of foods you can collect that have a long shelf life. Hell, there'd probably be enough shit at one military storage facility to keep you going for a few years. Not just food, but the fuel in the world would quickly go bad without any new being refined, you couldn't travel anywhere. Well, unless you are on a coastline and have a sailing ship and know how to use it that is. Still, you would be limited to traveling the coastlines of the world, and getting across an ocean would be an ordeal. All that gas in parked cars and whatnot would also go bad very quickly.

Crude can last for a long time, but you can't run cars on crude. Diesel might last a little longer than gasoline though, but it too will eventually go bad.

That's why I really hate shows like TWD, they're driving around cars every fucking where like it's nothing, jumping into cars that have sat abandoned for YEARS and just starting them up. The batteries would degrade and die, the tires would rot very quickly from siting out exposed in the sun for years. The gasoline in the tanks would degrade within a few months and start to turn into an unusable ooze.

The only real solution I could see is making wood burning cars, which is what people in Germany and Japan did during WWII during fuel shortages.
