The story behind it was that back in the 90s, the fandom was confused about the transition from Zeo to Turbo, so someone made up a hoax about how in Australia, there was a short five episode serial, that bridged the gap. It was full of bad acting,and nearly 100% stock footage, but for years people thought it was canon.

Eventually the guy who came up with the hoax, wrote the script for Forever Red, and put references to it in.
