cop refuses to take bribes, everyone else in the department hates him because he's making them look bad.

he goes on a raid, forces open a door on a room full of armed drug dealers, they close the door on his arm. he's begging the other cops to come and help him...

.. they give him this shitful wary look and start backing off, leaving him to get shot in the face by the drug dealers. just before they shoot him you see him understand what's happening.

this is one of the reasons i respect the power of the police but i will never trust any of them. that, and the film "Red Ball".

Been a while since I've seen The Descent. I just got freaked out by the fact that demon ghosts were giving some guy an alternate reality he couldn't escape from or fight and seemed real.
To be honest it gave me a phobia I still cope with today. I hate /his/ philosophy threads because of it.

And yes I didn't leave. It felt good to talk about, since in a way, actually acknowledging it makes me realize my phobia is a really shittily written "gotcha" in a bad horror movie.
