I get uncomfortable looking at all the movies I've watched. It's like every time I was going into watching something I was expecting to somehow become more complete, more experienced, like it should improve me or my life or something. But as the enjoyment of having watched something fades away, I realise that it didn't. It never does. The void can't be filled. And here I am, looking at all my vain attempts to fill it.
Maybe, one day this will bring me closer to properly understanding life and death: the good and bad times you've had don't really matter after the fact, and in the end you can only look at it all and say: "huh, that was pretty good" or "well that sucked".
