It's a cliched idea in the first place. Atop that it's poorly paced, and rushes to get you to the ending and Clara's death and feels like it only exists for that purpose (which it obviously does, but it shouldn't feel that way). The only stand-out writing really is the ending with 12 and Me when he's threatening her, and I wouldn't be shocked if Moffat contributed that. It's not an awful episode or anything, just painfully mediocre.

I like Matt as the Doctor but I can't stand rewatching any of his episodes, they are just so ugh.. I can watch Tennant and Eccleston due to Nostalgia, but Capaldi draws me in even with some of the bleh scripts.

Title sequences really don't bother me. Capaldi's is the worst of all time imo. Matt's first one is just OK, but it's not as good as the 2005 one. It just looks and sounds better in all of its variations.

RTD's are comfier and more inviting because the majority of them aren't arc heavy. Any Moffat episode that wasn't arc heavy just wasn't memorable. Except Vincent and the Doctor. And the Lodger. And A Christmas Carol. And the Doctor's Wife. And Series 7A save Asylum and Angels.

Nardole dies in episode 12 saving a bunch of people form the Cybermen

Missy Regenerates in Episodes 12, saving the Doctor.

Bill is turned into a Cyberman in episode 12, shes disfigured and in pain, she asks the Doctor to euthanize her, he does so reluctantly, using his sonic screwdriver to shut down her body, shes too far gone to be saved. This is one of the darkest episodes in the show's history.


The person in the basement is not the first Doctor, it is the 8th Doctor. The Doctor did not imprison 8th behind the door, he was tricked into doing so, why 8 was locked up is explained in the Christmas ep. Multi-Doctor story.

Bills Earth is Mondas, and the Doctor knew it was Mondas all along, but played ignorant. But it's more of a ''shock'' to the audience.

Hey /who/, I'm trying to explain the Alexis/Capaldi/Twin Flame thing.
Let me know if i'm missing anything; Her and Peter met psychically, presumably on the astral plane, fell and love. She's now pregnant with his baby(for 14 months now?), Peter sends coded messages to her via hand signals/coded language in interview as well as putting her name on his coffee cups(Just now on twitter). Is there anything i'm forgetting or miss-remebering about this story? I feel like i'm missing a big detail.
