Donal, what does it say
on the whiteboard?
On the... It says C6.
What does it say on every piece of
paperwork and on every sign-off sheet?
- It says C6.
- I says C6.
And you know why?
Because, eventually, when my building
is complete, it will be 55 floors high.
It will weigh 2,223,000
metric tons.
Okay? My building will alter the
water table and squeeze granite.
It will be visible
from 20 miles away.
At sunset, it will cast a
shadow probably a mile long.
Now, if the concrete at the base
of my building is not right,
if it slips half an
inch, cracks appear.
Right? If cracks appear, then they
will grow and grow, won't they?
- And the whole thing will collapse.
- Ivan, look...
You make one mistake, Donal,
one little fucking mistake,
and the whole world comes
crashing down around you.
Do you understand?
So you tell Stafford, C6.

Why is this big-guykino is underrated as fuck?
> What the fuck are you looking at? Laughing, aren't you? Laughing at my predicament! Familiar predicament to a man like you, isn't it dad? There he is, look! Like father, like son! There's the man I made. What is it they say,"the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"? Well, that's where you're wrong! Listen to me, you fucking piece of worthless shit: I want you to watch. Do you know, infact, I would like to take a fucking shovel and dig you up out of the fucking ground and make you watch me tonight. I would pull open your eyes and kick the mud and worms and shit out of your fucking ears just for the duration of this journey, because it's me driving. Me! Not you. And unlike you, I will drive straight to the place where I should be, and I will be there to take care of my... to take care of my fuck-up.
Watched this with the wife on Friday. Fantastic film. Didn't know what to expect. First truly original concept I've seen in ages. It would have been complete shit if the lead was played by someone mediocre.

Agree. After all this baneposting and Delaneyposting people seem to think that Hardy is only a meme actor who plays same character, which is false.
>>80666137
Because it's just a guy driving talking about his wife or concrete. It's expected to be underrated.

This movie really hit too close to home. I think I'm not gonna have any kids, thank you very much.

Concrete-kino
Jokes aside Locke is a great movie.

The Irish guy on the phone is Moriarty in Sherlock
Movie is great

>when he has to tell his wife everything
>his son calls him, pretending everything is ok, talking about the footie, when he knows its all fucked
hits close to home
Great film. His attempt at a Welsh accent makes me weep sometimes though. Seems to stray into pajeet territory from time to time.

its probably jarring to a native taffy
But it sounds ok to me (irish btw)
>10 years into your career
>already had your big breakout and a blockbuster nolan film
>still shows flaccid cock on a short flick from an unknown director
what did he mean by this?
this film is really great.

When was this? He was naked in Bronson before.

2011Sergeant Slaughter, My Big Brother. It was like a 2 minute full nude, he climbs on top of a guy and then wiggles his dick

it isn't. everyone and their mom was talking about it when it came out. this is not at all some secret gem, it was a worldwide critical success upon being released.
