I haven't started it yet, because What Ever Happened to Baby Jane has been on my watchlist for a while, and I wanted to see it first. I rented it a few days ago, so I'm probably going to watch the first episode now. I think Kiernan's really cute, so I'm looking forward to seeing her.

I did, and I enjoyed it. I thought it got a little too camp in places, but Bette Davis and Joan Crawford were both terrific. I never really understood why people love Bette Davis so much, I've never found her particularly pretty, and while she's good in All About Eve, that movie's never blown me away for some reason. It's good, but I don't love it as much as most people.

But in Baby Jane, she's amazing.

Okay, I just watched the first episode. Here are my thoughts:

>The Saul Bass style opening is great
>The show feels too much like a standard biopic sometimes
>Too many historical facts artificially worked into the dialogue
>The parts where they recreate scenes from the movie are fantastic
>Susan Sarandon will win an Emmy
>Stanley Tucci will be nominated if he's in longer portions of the episodes
>Kiernan Shipka is jawdroppingly beautiful

I liked it. I'll probably watch episodes two and three tomorrow.
