You have 10 seconds to convince me that Stranger Things is not the most perfect television show in modern American history.
Protip:It cannot be done
>>80625591
Easy.
Stranger Things wasn't very good. If you want to talk about perfect shows, you need to start talking about It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and you need to start talking about it ten years ago.
>>80625591
Why do you think it IS the most perfect show? The burden of proof is on you who makes the outrageous statement.
>>80625698
No it isn't. Nice reddit meme.
>>80625591
i don't watch it and i only watch good shows, therefore it can't be good
checkmate
>>80625591
DUDE 1980'S SOUNDTRACK LMAO
>>80625591
Apparently you haven't watched the Snatch series yet, m8.
The Wire
>>80625698
Donald Trump is the President of the United States of America. You can fuck right off with that shit.
>>80625591
It's shit. Winona Ryder was the only positive.
>>80625591
reddit things is shit
Clearly you haven't watched The Addams Family
>>80625759
It's perfect. Winona Ryder is the closest thing to a negative.
>>80625791
>Modern American history
Stranger things is the ultimate nostalgia series. Also a surprising cast of kids that seem to have gelled perfectly with each other. Not the best show though. The expanse and legion are better.
I attempt to summon the Finnposter horde to destroy this thread. Roll for intiative.
>>80625842
I remain unconvinced.
Skins is the greatest show of all time and that's that
>>80625591
to be fair, the bar is not very high
even if it were, it's hardly an accomplishment
>>80625856
>I attempt to summon the Finnposter
First of all, there are many Finnposters. Second of all, I am the Alpha-Finnposter. You cannot summon me to a thread I created.
>>80625591
Finn looks more and more like a girl.
>>80625914
>implying that is a bad thing.
>>80625856
>destroying Demogorgon with 1 fireball
what a shit show
>>80625898
Did you read the part where I called upon the entire horde? Now bring the rest of your army, you filth.
>>80625934
You just know Gaten destroys that every night.
Chad winsvirgin dies first
It basically spits in they eye of the rules of slasher/horror movies, which could have been excused if it felt right but it just didn't.
Also, not killing the monster with the homemade trap was a real letdown.
>>80625591
The Good Wife is still on? What in the fuck?
>>80625984
No, a bald man in an elevator dies first. Plus, Borb doesn't die, she will be back in season 2 as a large squid monster.
>>80625591
>Will & Grace revival
whyyyyy
>>80626069
So what you're saying is that Barb is in Will's dreams?
>>80626086
>Dude, gays LMAO
>>80626106
No,Mikeis in Will's dreams. Brab is a giant squid.
>>80626150
So that scene from the trailer with the giant squid billy was real, not a dream?
>>80626184
Yes. It is in episode 4, and the two dimensions are collapsing in on themselves. Finn talked about id on snapchat.
>Can out-act every mouth breather on this shitshow
>>80626425
Maybe he should have played Will. Looks gay enough.
>>80626496
ayyyyyy
>>80625795
It's perfect for boylovers to fap to. That's it.
Effects - shit
Story - shit
Acting - shit
What were the good points? Name ONE.
>>80626617
Millie was pretty good.
The Leftovers exists
>>80625591
Move over, reddit.
>>80625591
Have you not watched the Americans?
I assume not, because if you had, you wouldnt have started this thread
>>80626617
>Acting - shit
>>80626906
That kid always looks tired, sad, or worried.
Barbara's plot line was shit. Nobody was sympathetic. The kids were too obviously nerdy
>>80627024
They had to emphasize the kids being outsiders and having them all be trans, black, or gay would have been too obvious.
>>80626950
It's not easy being a gift to humanity.
>>80625591
>homage to various 80s movies
>uses fucking cgi instead of a quintessential man in a rubber monster costume for it's creature effects.
As a guy who gets a jolly off of practical effects this was such a fucking lost opportunity that any of the monster scenes were hard to watch after i realized they were going with cgi. And garbage cgi at that.
>>80627255
It's not even that it would have been hard to do. The mouth flaps could have been attached to strings.
>>80627304
worst part is that they had an animatronic and a suit for the monster but they opted for cgi over most of it. I've seen the behind the scenes on it and the animatronic head is solid but i can't remember a single instance of it in the film.
>>80627456
Would have saved them in CGI bucks, at the cost of turning the animatronic into a full suit and hiring an actor to wear it.
>>80627581
this is what they had
>>80627656
this is what we got
Kid on bottom left is either going to become a twink faggot or Cillian Murphy.
>>80627730
kevin's already on his way
>>80627730
You watch. He'll grow up to the be the prettiest man in Hollywood and, to the despair of these threads, straight.
>>80626906
Pedo detected
Monster looked generic. certain choices made no sense, like leaving that suicidal cop alive, instead of staging a suicide, after already killing dozens of people who knew next to nothing about their activities. Most of all, I found it to be boring and didn't even bother to finish the last episode.
>>80625591
Finn isn't occupying 100% of the screentime
>>80627947
oh, and the kids didn't talk like kids. They referenced a cult movie every two sentences, that wasn't even a cult movie back then.
>>80627947
>leaving that suicidal cop alive, instead of staging a suicide, after already killing dozens of people who knew next to nothing about their activities.
the bad guys were overall just retarded. Is competent baddies too much to ask for or is that too hard to write a story around?
Okay so tell me Finn posters, what is it about him that makes you love him so much?
Yeah he's cute and very good at acting but so are a lot of actors, so tell me what about him that makes him special?
>>80628040
The entire plot could have been avoided by the scientists sticking to their objective instead of having Eleven poke an interdimensional entity they knew nothing about.
>>80625591
Stranger Things is the only show I started in the past five years that made me go "damn, I gotta see more immediately" after the first episode.
>>80626906
People always say Eleven has very good facial expressions but he's also very good at it, he just plays the "natural" type of character
>>80628087
I can't really explain it, to be honest. I think it's the combination of his sense of humour, goofiness, talent and creativity. He's also very bright for his age, I dare say more intelligent and aware than his peers, and he emanates optimism and positive energy. He's cute in an excited puppy way, and his features are aesthetically pleasing to look at.
I think we all have certain people/things/beings in our lives which make us feel better and raise our spirits, and I guess for now that's what Finn is to me. He just makes me feel better and happier desu senpai.
>>80625591
It's ok but severely derivative.
>>80628511
Do you experience sexual attraction to him?
it's good sure but there's nothing special about it. There are far better shows out there, Stranger Things is just notable in its ability to appeal to such a wide audience without sacrificing quality. It's the Christopher Nolan tv show
>>80625591
The kids aren't attractive enough
>>80628552
No, I don't. I can acknowledge that he's a good looking person, but that's about it.
>>80628630
One of the few and the proud among Finnfans, then.
>>80628552
Yes. I want to hear what he sounds like when I have his entire balls and little penis in my mouth
>>80628588
Haha, this fuckin' guy!
>>80628753
"I wish I was at home playing guitar."
>>80628754
Haha
>>80628087
he would make a good trap and whatnot
>>80627656
>>80628087
It's impossible to adequately define. He just has an amazing presence. There is a calmness about him that is infectious, an awakening power. He is like a messenger from another realm. A bridge between the world's of form and the formless.
>>80629415
I don't see what you see. He's a good kid in an industry that takes good kids and ruins them.
The last 2 or 3 episodes ruined the season.
>>80629506
He's above all that. Impervious to the trappings of this mortal coil.
>>80629564
And he will never notice you.
>>80629415
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-60mahNDrNM
He just wants to play with his Switch
>>80629641
Like most boys his age.
>>80629618
Probably not.
>>80625591
It was so anticlimactic. The last episode was just boring.
>>80629641
>The Finn Podcast
This should exist. Why does this not exist?
>>80629790
Because his creepy fans would scare him away from doing any of that? Letting strangers chat with him with anonymity would be a mistake.
>>80628253
He does. It's much harder to play the straight guy than a weird character type. Finn doesn't get enough credit.
>>80629790
He makes kino short videos instead
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_isYUZTlp0
>>80629880
>Letting strangers chat with him with anonymity would be a mistake.
...I don't think that's how podcasts work, senpai. I think you're thinking of twitter, or instagram, or snapchat, or periscope, or any other number of social media platforms that Finn actually participates in. Podcasts are like the one Internet platform that don't allow for what you're talking about.
>>80630079
Oh? I didn't know. Just assumed every possible platform for that sort of thing had a miniature chatroom.
>>80629954
When is his "It" movie coming out?
>>80630714
September
>>80630800
nice
>>80625677
>It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and you need to start talking about it ten years ago.
Nah
