If she has decided to come over to your house to watch the film, then it doesn't matter what movie you pick, she doesn't care what film you watch, she's probably already decided that she wants you. You should be smooching her by the end of the first 45 minutes anyway, unless you do something egregiously bad to repel her. Just don't be a fucking autist and decide to sit far away from her when the film starts. Ideally, you should have a tv in your room and "watch" the film in there, get rid of any chairs so you're forced to sit on your bed.

With my first gf, I picked Natural Born Killers which was my favorite film at the time and she was cool with it. So unless you put on hardcore pornography or beheading videos, it probably doesn't matter. If you're going to a theater, that's a completely matter.

Because in most situations, regardless of how awesome the movie is you have to sit there in the dark for 1.5/2 hours and not really talk to each other or have any chance to get to know each other any better, then after it's over suddenly you have to pretend you actually spent the last 2 hours engaged in meaningful time together and talk about something you BOTH just experienced.

Dumb idea really, taking girls to the movies is something you do for chicks you already know well.

However, having girls watch movies at your house is totally different and works well.
