This movie tricked me into reading the only piece by Stephen King that I have ever read: a short story by the same name. I borrowed the anthology as a kid figuring that the King story was the precursor of this tech-flick, but all I remember about the King story itself was that some dude mowed some other dude's lawn (literally), and then the lawnmower man gets naked and flips out and maybe kills his client or something, and that's literally it. But apparently per wiki, the two are related by way of the title-borrow, and in no other meaningful ways (as I've just explained).
