Thoughts on Alien 3? Kinda liked it T B H
>The whole prison environment
>Cockney prisoners
>The dog birthing the alien while the black priest talks about the cycle of life and death
>Those brutal deaths
>Bishop's head
>Real Bishop
>Those badass Company soldiers
>Ripley's sacrifice
The girl from Aliens dying was a downer, some of the CGI and editing needed work, but I enjoyed it.
I like the assembly cut. It's still a mess, but I like the characters enough for it to work and I really like it thematically. The bleakness worked for me.

>The dog birthing the alien while the black priest talks about the cycle of life and death
Wrong, it was an Ox.
> some of the CGI and editing needed work, but I enjoyed it.
There wasn't that much CGI in it, the Alien was stop-motion/rig puppet

I keep trying to go back and watch it but just get kind of bored.
Best part desu

watching alien 4 rn
decent cheese
scene with clones feels like it belongs in a way better movie

Canonically it was a dog.
Shouldn't have watched the meme cut first.
It's shit and is disowned by it's own shit director. You need to look at yourself in the mirror if you liked this garbage. Made everything that happened in Aliens completely useless

This desu
And also the main doctor guy who was a psycho on Star Trek

And Grima Wormtongue

Just remembered
Brad Dourif
Underrated

Not as bad as Prometheus, there's that.
The first two Alien movies are great though.

excellent in Deadwood, as well
good fucking actor

Ya shoot me but I actually liked it more than Aliens. Very underated imo, best soundtrack too.

>"We're getting back to our roots in Alien."

>couldn't have just left her in cold storage
>out of the gate with toilet paper hanging out of the ass of the horse

>loli dies during the opening credits
This movie made some odd creative choices. Overall it's maybe the last okay-tire Alien movie. Doesn't reach the heights of the original or Aliens though.

Its gold when you have to compare it with Prometheus.

My least favourite alien movie.
>The whole prison environment
This was the biggest dissapointment for me. The whole prison brothered of barely restrained rapers and a few good men with dark pasts felt forced and cliched.

Yeah, I wish newt was kept asleep. Left a weird feeling in my mouth.
