monks are a completely new threat, but link to Missy

no info about the finale apart from its about cybermen

mathieson's episode is about zombies

bill is gay which is shown throughout episode 1. in the tardis scene at the end, the doctor says "no funny business" to which she replies "you'e not my type"

Unironically, Kris Marshall. He's known to normies, so he'd bring in the audience. Also a comedy actor, and is pretty Doctorish in his mannerisms. He's also not just young, teenybop eye candy, but he looks like the Doctor. In other words, he'd definitely bring the show back into the mainstream. They shouldn't go under 30, in my opinion.

>>
>>80550100
Are you intentionally trolling him, or just remembering something from 15 years ago? Almost every home user's cable or DSL modem has a router. Which means renewing your computer's DHCP address is only going to change its internal IP, not the external IP, the one seen by the rest of the internet.

To renew the external IP address, you need to do the equivalent on the router. Which is probably running linux rather than Windows, and which you probably can't plug a keyboard into or SSH into anyway, so you'd have to follow the instructions for your specific setup.

Or just do it the easy way: unplug the router, plug it back in, it will probably get you a new external IP.
>>

It's completely different.

What would happen if I created an account at a friend's house a few miles away and logged into it once activated at my house.

Really huge or heavily-targeted sites (and, for some reason, MMO game forums) definitely flag things like that for admins to look at.

Most smaller sites don't, but they easily could. Most forum software logs enough info, and they can just borrow the scripts from Wikipedia if they don't know how to write them.

I have no idea whether GB does.

To some people, any character without a romantic arc is a one-dimensional and/or kiddie character. RTD didn't do anything to dissuade those people from watching NuWho, and Moffat's only been very gradually moving there over his first 6 years, so they still think they're Doctor Who fans, but they hate Nardole.

Thinking Brexit was a bad idea does not make Davison "far left". Do you have any idea what "far left" actually means? It doesn't mean "left-centre, but slightly louder about it than other another left-centre person".
>>

I never called davison far left, you're creating implications that weren't intended
>>
>it's a '/who/ thinks brexit was right wing' episode
>>
>>80557238
I'm having a hard time figuring out what implications you were intending by "non-left views" if it's not either Smith being right or Davison being so far left that he considers left-centre to be right.

As far as I can tell from the few things he's said, Smith has pretty much the same views as Davison. They're both Labour supporters, neither is a radical Corbynite, etc. The only major difference between them is that Smith thinks people shouldn't listen to celebrities on politics, including himself.

That's not "non-left views", it's just not wanting to talk about his left views..
>>
>>80557001
There is no exact center point in the political spectrum. There's just varying degrees of left and right.
>>
>>80557484
Isn't "stop bickering and fix the street you twats" the centre?
>>
>>80557484
Even left and right is a pretty silly division.

Are the gains of Left-Green parties over Social-Democrat/Labour parties all over Europe a victory or a loss for the left? Are libertarians farther right or less far than liberal-conservatives? PVV is a far-right party because they want to ban immigration and Islam, except on almost every issue they're what the alt-right likes to call "far left", especially being slightly left of the mainstream on identity-politics protection for women and gays.

The Rory-Jennifer subplot could have been a lot better. I think it was meant to be major character development for Rory, a step on him turning into a Leicester who would make himself the second most powerful force in the world so he could make Amy the most powerful. But it came across more as Rory fantasized about cheating on Amy, but she turned into a monster, so now he's whipped forever.

Still, nowhere near enough to ruin the story for me.

In retrospect, I wish the S5 arc hadn't worked out so well, because that's what convinced him that he has to (and can) do that again every year.

See pic related. Is that a black Duke or something? No, of course not; it's a recently freed American slave wearing his best Sunday outfit.

Where did you get the idea that only the upper classes wore top hats? In fact, the upper classes rarely wore them until Prince Albert made it fashionable; before that, they were almost exclusively worn by merchants, engineers, and other middle-class professionals.

When the middle classes gradually stopped wearing them, it was only because they'd become so cheap that workers were able to buy them.
