Can we ban Twitter screencap threads? Discussing about some idiot's opinion about a movie or a show rather than the movie or show itself is fucking pointless. Especially when /pol/tards just do it to find the most radical leftist drivel about some movie and make the thread just to spout politics in this board.
No but we should ban you
Agreed
fucking /pol/reddit r/thedonald cancer should fuck off already
>>80385594
>hating on /pol/ on 4chan
you have to go back now.
Let's start by banning you
>>80385594
>>80385642
these obviously
>>80385659
Says the new kid who came here bc of how edgy he heard it was
>Complaining about discussing some idiot's opinion on a board where you discuss opinions with idiots.
>>80385594
>Whines about threads that have nothing to do with television or movies
>By making a thread that has nothing to do with television or movies
Threads about actors, actresses, and critics are a thousand times more relevant than your thread. If anyone needs to leave it's you.
Not gonna lie, former /pol/ user here. This is fucking hilarious watching /pol/ get btfo. But in all seriousness we can't let this board post any more twitter screencap threads!
Can we also ban the off-topic threads you do like youtube trash and the likes?
Either its all garbage or none, /v/
>>80385594
>ban some idiot's opinion about a movie or a show
wut?
that's exactly what /tv/ is, and why the board exists
>>80385808
>enter a Twitter screencap thread
>the screencap is some hyper leftist bullshit in regards to a movie
>"lol fucking libtard cucks"
Quality /tv/ discussion right there.
>>80385808
>>80385916
But at that point it's not
>let's discuss this person's point
but
>OF COURSE THAT PERSON THINKS THAT (S)HE'S A _______. GIB (You)'S
>>80385875
>not knowing that we can always have one meta thread
How new, still unpacked
>>80385875
Meta threads are allowed you mongoloid.
>>80385962
If you want quality television and film discussion, go to Reddit.
>Sure you can discuss actors and actresses
>But you can't discuss anything they say, do, or believe
What did the OP mean by this?
>>80385642
What can we do about cancer like this that pretends to care about the quality of /tv/, but spends all his time crying and when he isn't crying hes posting epic meme threads like "HAHAHAHAHA" ones?
>>80385594
Is there any downside to banning social media screencaps other than less shitposting?
And yes I know that the mods are among the shitposters so it doesn't really matter.
>>80386024
>>80386031
Meta or not, it still has less to do with television or movies then twitter screencaps of what major movie industry people are saying.
/qa/ exists for a reason.
>>80386091
>>But you can't discuss anything they say, do, or believe
I didn't say that. Twitter is a platform for hastily written short messages and ramblings. I'm interested in what actors and directors have to say in interviews, but not on Twitter, since it only produces low level of dialogue.
>>80385594
how about no
>>80386091
They want to shut down threads that contradict their narrative because they have no argument, but they know they'll look like the censoring cunts they are if they admit that it's the political views that bother them. So they act like it's everything BUT the politics that are the problem, to the point where they'll try to convince people that discussion of an actors motives is not related to television.
You already know this, and so does most of 4chan, but they seem to think they're fooling people so they keep doing it. It's pretty funny, and one of the main reasons I come to /tv/ now.
>>80385995
I've been browsing this board since 2009 and it's always been this way. The only thing that's changed is the names you're called.
>>80386170
So if an actor says "FUCK DRUMPH" in an interview, I can make a thread about that, but if they tweet it then it's a no-no?
/pol/ here. As long as you keep crying like the little loser bitch you are we will never leave. Your tears are so delicious. 8 years of this? 8 fucking years of yummy salty libcuck tears.
yes please
>>80386191
It was not this political/ironically racist. A few nigger jokes, some jew name calling, just banter.
>>80386197
Yeah, because the whole interview will have context for that quote and his answer will be more detailed. I can't count how many times when a screencap of some actor's tweet left out the context that would have changed the meaning of the tweet.
>>80386201
You're actually welcome here /pol/. The only ones that don't want you here are meme hustlers upset your threads promote actual discussion instead of quick reddit tier upvote replies
>>80386201
>autism
>>80386285
I mean, no matter what your opinion, you were called Reddit. Before that, you were a hipster. Now you're a cuck.
>>80386508
>Now you're a cuck: the /tv/ story
>>80386571
Haha!
>>80386105
Ban them and then dox them if they come back
