New trailer for this coming today.
I'm excited. Supposedly Wright's shying away from comedy for pure action, and if Scott Pilgrim/World's End are any indication he's grown pretty skilled in that sense.
Title's still kinda stupid but it's a musical reference so it makes sense.
Babies get really shitty gas mileage, I'll just drive a car.
Wright is a boring one note hack
I'm looking forward to it but I hope it's better than the worlds end, which was underwhelming

Really? It's been pretty underrated imo.
Made me feel quite a bit. The "From Dusk to Dawn" tonal shift is a little jarring but knowing what it is going in makes it easier to swallow.
The foreshadowing in that is fucking insane too.

It felt the least impactful, the characters felt cold, there was no real friendship between the crew and relied too much on DUDE cool overlong fighting scenes. Still wasn't bad but definitely no where as good as shaun or hot fuzz

No thanks, /v/.

To each their own, but Gary's "IT'S ALL I'VE GOT" at the end fucking stings every time for me.
Plus it's got a good theme of maturity (and the lack thereof). That really stuck with me when I saw it.

Worlds d was my favorite of the trilogy desu

Yea it just felt like both simon pegg and nick frosts characters were off putting and serious, the tone didn't really fit the rest of the trilogy for me personally

I guess I can understand that, it was pretty dark.
Also it wasn't directly tackling a broad genre, so that tears it apart from the theoretical trilogy.
