Has an actor ever been able to more successfully define a role than he did? No future casting will ever be able to come near this performance.

Harrison ford as Indiana jones
>>80235287
better than MCU spidey
vito corleone
Wolverine
>>80235250
Yeah too bad a lot of his dialogue was just him ranting about white purity
>>80235324
Bullshit. You could slap anybody in that role. Chris Pratt. Tom Cruise. Nathan Drake. Idris Elba.
I know I'm basically quoting RLM at this point, but the Indiana Jones movies were about the adventure, not the titular character. He is barely a character, just a good looking guy who cracks jokes.
Spielberg didn't invent handsome white guy adventure serial.
>that cut scene from spiderman 2 where he shaves the sides of his moustache off and gives an entire unabridged hitler speech to his hapless employees

RDJ as Iron Man, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Hugh Laurie asGeorgejk, House, Mark Hamill as the Joker, Robert Pattison unironically, Brendan Fraser in the Mummy, Anthony Hopkins to an extent, Macaulay Culkin, Elijah Wood, Rowan Atkinson, full cast of Friends, etc.

Everyone who follows will be second, no one especially not Chris Pratt or Bradley cooper could even compare. Same reason that new han solo movie is a shit idea.

The actor's name is J.K. Simmons btw

most of the cast of lotr was absolutely perfect
i think christopher lee as saruman was the best from both an acting perspective and a poetic perspective. he knew tolkien and was promised the role of gandalf by tolkien himself if a movie was ever to be made, but instead went with saruman because he knew he was too old and could do a much better job as saruman.

The story about how he casually corrected Jackson on how it sounds when someone gets stabbed in the back is still one of my fave /tv/ anecdotes.
