Jackman never really read well as Wolverine. The character, when also well written, comes off as misanthropic and cynical but also grandfatherly in a way like he'd teach you to clean a carburetor while telling you racist jokes. I think being too tall and handsome also detracts from the scrappy chip-on-the-shoulder impression Wolverine should give off. It might've been a lot to ask a casting director,but that's not my problem.

Just get someone to play Daken, instead. Get it to a generally brown, sort of ethnic dude who looks good in a mohawk.

Always loved Jackman but never saw him as Wolverine. Grew up with the games and cartoon and some comics and Wolverine was never anything like him. Then after the movie came out, Wolverine was all tall, slim and handsome in the comics and it pissed me off.

Logan is his only accurate portrayal of the character. It took him 17 years but he finally got it. Not physically, of course, but in his perfomance.

I can totally see someone else in the role if it's someone good that resembles the actual character but it has to be done in 15 years or so. They don't need Wolverine now that they have X-23 and Deadpool. And the other X-youngsters from Apocalypse.
