TWD has been daytime soap tier for a while now. The show felt like it ran out of interesting plot lines back in S4. There's no direction; it's just slice of life of a bunch of sociopaths with zombie gore interspersed.

Negan meming it up has made it somewhat entertaining lately, but the show will be back to shit once they reach the cringey whisperers arc.

Glenn had a fakeout death during that comic arc. You had to wait 4 weeks for the next issue to release. Since Stevey is a fan of the comic and read that arc years before it aired he should've known better.
