Actually, friend, i liked the entire movie. However, the atomic breath scene was particularly top notch.

2014 was decent. A truly discerning fan will be able to see that it wasn't that good of a movie but it was a very good vehicle for introducing a new Godzilla, as Godzilla's appearances (however seldom they were) may have been some of the best screentime he has ever had.

I like G2014 solely for bringing upon the age of the Kaiju Cinematic Universe. I am looking forward to Kong, since there are supposed to be more monster fights.

Very strong lead-in to such a weak reveal. They should have had him miss the monster at first so we could get an idea of the real damage the beam could do, instead it looks like he's spraying a hose at the monster.

The same shit happened in that god awful live action Dragon Ball movie with the Kamehameha wave. Such a shitty effect. Shin is the only live action movie from this decade (that I can recall) that has done the beam effect correctly.
