It's frustrating because they could make it scary again. We all know what it looks like so hiding it in dark corridors would no longer work. So they should emphasise it as being the murderous space-rapist that it was in the first film.

Show it graphically mutilate and sexually assault someone. Not the silly, over the top gore that is most so-called horrors now, but I mean do it in a really slow, realisitc, animialistic way.

It'd be the only way to make it terrifying again in my opinion.

The entire premise of the xenomorph is psychosexual. The first film was about exploring sexual violence regardless of gender. The head of the creature alone is literally designed to resemble a penis.
