I actually don't like doing this unless there's something I specifically didn't understand, like I'm trying to keep track of the timelines in Primer.

Those videos where its like, "XYZ ENDING EXPLAINED!"

Then I imagine a bunch of plebs assimilating that intel like something can only have one explanation that they heard on the internet, and then they'll spew that shit like a virus IRL.

Really touching movies, beautiful movies are delicate like Faberge eggs. If you touch them, they break. I feel like that way about a lot of things. I think some things are so beautiful that they should be locked away, or maybe only a certain number of people should be able to witness them.

It makes me sad to think people listening to some commercialized, talking head dispensing a doldrum about an easily compartmentalized meaning to something that may be way deeper.

It makes me want to kill myself.

i almost always read the ebert review of the movie (assuming it came out before he died, RIP)

didn't always agree with his ratings but he usually brought up a point of view that i hadn't yet considered

I'm guilty of this for Paprika.

I couldn't believe the qt protagonist married the huge fatfuck.

>>
I just watch a movie and ask on /tv/ if it was good then assimilate the most reasonable looking reply I get

Or if I really liked the movie I get all smug and call it "kino" in front of people and refuse to explain
