How will the blacks react when Jim wins 4 straight Oscars for Best Picture for Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5?
Just fine when Zoe gets Best Actress for each of those films.
Realistically could James Cameron defeat every black person in America if they attacked him at once?
Am I the only one who didn't really care for avatar? It wasn't that creative, just some JPRG aesthetics and animals that were given six legs for some implausible reason. Story was basic as fuck, and riddled with stupid shit like the army guys attacking with mechs that had big windshields weak enough to be penetrated by arrows. Actually dozed off somewhere in the middle. It really feels like Avatar was riding on the 3D hype train, and if you saw it live in theatres as your first 3D movie experience I guess it could leave a different impression. For me it was just a pretty dull movie with some good looking, although not unique by any means, settings.

Oh no, an infograph that says I'm a redditor how can I go on
How about you say why you like the movie and we could discuss it? I guess you should make a new pic that defines a redditor as someone who actually wants to talk about movies and not just shitpost.

I have a hard time believing they are making it into a franchise. Either it will bomb or they'll cancel it before it is finished.
Big money franchises have an audience that loves the material and casuals go along, but Avatar has no fanbase at all. First Avatar was a hit because of 3D and shit and everyone has forgotten it and made fun of it already. No one is thinking "geez, I wish we had some more of my hero Jake Sully played by that iconic Sam whats-his-face"
