Dear Americans,
could you please stop misrepresenting Russians in your cinematography? If Western movie (and Hollywood movies especially) shows Russian, he would always be gangster, mafia member, drunkard, violent and stupid person. He would never be a positive character. If you show Russia in your movie, it would always be shown as a ridiculously barbaric country. Yes, we are poor country and we have problems, but you have problems too: police brutality, racism, Rust Belt, extremely expensive medicine and education (we have free education and almost free medicine). And remember, half of Silicon valley are Russian IT-specialists and engineers.
Also, we are underrepresented as a minority in USA. Despite there are 5 million Russians in USA, I remember only Anton Yelchin (RIP) as a Russian actor in Hollywood (except Russian immigrant actors in Hollywood like Taktarov, it's a different thing).
So could you please stop using Cold War propaganda and start treat us decently? Stop the Russophobia.

Actually most of Russians would like to have USSR back. It was really great. We become a superpower from India tier country in a 20 years. We were agricultural country in 1917 with 20% literacy. In 1945 we destroyed nazism. In 1961 we won the space race. Of course USSR had flaws too but those were greatest times in all our history.

Bolsheviks didn't really care for Russians, though. Those things happened because Stalin took over. Arguably Russia would've been superpower tier with no communism at all.
