Good grief, okay, that must've been it. You know, it's been a while (some three years) and we didn't keep discussing her issues at great length cause we mostly had better things to do (of course we would talk about them whenever problems arose but they weren't exactly our favourite subjects of discussion, as you can imagine – also her physiological problems were less of an issue than the psychological ones). Nevertheless, now that you point it out, I guess that was what she told me once and I just made the wrong connection in hindsight due to her very unique eye color. Her eyes weren't colorless or pink or red but rather a very pale shade of green, actually rather beautiful. She also dyed her eyelashes so that there was this extreme contrast which I liked.

Now that's actually not even a bad question, because in hindsight I would say that I MOSTLY felt attracted to her right away.
Don't get me wrong, I regarded her as striking. And it wasn't hard: She had a dancer's physique and a very pretty face – very open but also very distinctive, clear features. And even though I was her first actual boyfriend (she had been with a "crush" or two before), she wasn't regarded as unpleasant-looking by anyone I knew, so I guess that's an indication as to how "normal" she actually looked.

But although I did comment on the beauty of her eyes, when we first met I actually found them rather fascinating than beautiful. But that's just due to my general taste: Show me an image of a "cat-eyed" model or actress with very light colored eyes and for the most part they won't exactly be my type. So her eyes were actually an acquired taste if you will.
Nevertheless, at the height of our romance I really did regard her as that sort of "ethereal fairy goddess" and I sorta remember her as that becaue... well, she was a great girlfriend. End of story.
