Isn't that an absolute?

Obi Wan is clearly Snoke. Just wait and see.

Honestly if you think the Shakesperian dialogue in the prequels was bad then you are a pleb.
'I have grown more powerful than any jedi'
The exquisite use of blank verse by Lucas easily rivals the best of film.
JarJar is the fool
Anakin/Vader is Macbeth
Obi Wan is King Lear
Mace Windu is Othello
Just go back to r*ddit and never post on my board again.

Literal iambic pentameter.

But he's not "dealing" in an absolute. Not really the same as "Join me or die," but I suppose in a sense it is.
This is a good example of George's flawed writing. Here I would have written it, "That sounds like Sith logic."
I would also have had Obi-Wan attempt to reason with his friend rather than actually be there to kill him, while Anakin was the one on the attack the whole time, and Obi-Wan would have had to cut him down as a means of self-defense. Like a fucking Jedi should.
As is 'Try not! Do, or do not. There is no try'
