That's a thousand years of history that barely ever gets covered.

Those weren't books about science or natural truth, they were about shit like theology, fiction, and the medieval equivalent of self-help

it was the dark ages so it was really dark and shit. hollywood lighting is expensive.

thats after 1500

You need to start filming them

It doesn't matter, they're history worth preserving.
>>
>>79606944
They were books about philosophy and culture, though. The reason we place so much value on discovering natural truth comes from the ancient Greeks, who practically invented the scientific method, millennia before the Age of Enlightenment.
>>
To be honest guys I can't name a single movie set in that time period.

I'm more interested in why we've never had a good movie about the Aurignacian or Magdalenian period in Europe.

You don't even need to make shit up, but giant beasts and neanderthal beast men existed while Europeans lived as native Americans did only a few hundred years ago, despite being 40,000 years ago.

Would be wicked interesting

Rome fell and there weren't a central metropolis where all wars and intellectual activities were concentrated in those times.

It's kinda like Paramount going out of business and being replaced by 100 tiny indies.

There are still good stuff being made, but none of the indies can make a massive blockbuster epic that will be talked about decades initial theatrical run like Ben-Hur or 2001 A Space Odyssey.
