What were /tv/'s thoughts on this? The twist with MEW having a family already hurt, maybe because it felt familiar.

too bad they had to rip off Fight Club's ending

My favorite of 2016
A legit bizarre masterpiece. The soundtrack, the musing on the nature of life and friendship and shit, the humor, it was some seriously powerful stuff.
I still listen to the intro song when I go running. The crescendo just propels me right the fuck forward.

Did you even watch the movie terd?

A giant piece of shit. Only the beginning was good. Should have stayed a short film.
Separates the faux patricians from the real thing
I liked it, but it was a little hacky and hammy.
Honestly I nearly turned it off in the first five minutes because of the farting but I'm glad I persevered, it was pretty well made and enjoyable
its alright but pretty much full of itself ... kind of pretencious
had a surprising amount of heart and well meaning behind the initial fart jokes
Fucking weirdest shit I have seen in a long time. Bad? No, not really. Just fucking weird.
I still don't know how I feel about the end.
Also my favourite film of 2016
Genuinely original, which is impressive for films nowadays and it actually managed to balance the tone of meaningful emotional content as well as humour. And of course a pretty awesome soundtrack.
It was pretty good. Nothing amazing, not the best film of the year, but worth watching.
Pretty good
Interesting enough to be definitely worth a watch, not actually good enough for a rewatch.

I had no emotional reaction to the ending. Was anyone actually expecting them to get together? There's like a few flashbacks of Radcliffe thinking about MEW and that's it. Then when he runs into her at the end it turns into a cluster fuck of comedy, tragedy and confusion. I like the rest of the movie but the ending sucked

>Was anyone actually expecting them to get together?
No? The whole point of the ending was revealing that he was just hiding out in the woods 20 feet from her backyard being a nutso.
I watched it drinking alone one night, and I've rarely had such an enjoyable movie experience.
Immediately bought the DVD, still have yet to get my friends/family to consent to watching it though.
