It is one of my favourite slows, it's beautiful and really knows how to build to a payoff

If you go in expecting grounded, understated realism, however, you will just be frustrated by it. The show is all about flourishes and being showy.

To be fair the show has way more depth and is far more interesting than CSI. That being said I still think it's a 6/10 or a 7/10 depending on how the rest of the season plays out. Like I said, above average but not outstanding.

It's one of the best shows I've ever seen. Looks great. Sounds great. Acting is superb. Thoroughly engaging writing.

Top notch. Highly, highly recommended.
