His "Christmas with the Kranks" video is a psychological portrait. It is simultaneously intensely meta, while containing absolutely no self-awareness. He manages to set up an absolutely poignant and humble message, but then delivers on his real intentions to make a completely deluded and retardedly, obnoxiously, arrogant one instead. It's honestly fascinated me for more than a year now every time I'm reminded of it.

Douge is "that kid" from high school who always wanted attention but had no good socially productive ways of earning it like through playing on a sports team or having a musical talent or something like that and so his unrealized need for attention got him probably doing retarded social things in school like that video of him quitting his job. This is the reason he even began Nostalgia Critic and his ego stems from him probably believing since his school years "I deserve attention" even though he never earned it, and now he just feels validated in the attention he is getting surrounding himself with other "that kids". In the beginning the Nostalgia Critic gimmick had wide appeal because he was just making cheap jokes over already funny nostalgic movies most people had rented or something from a video store as a kid in his age group or slightly below it. It's now completely lost that appeal and his audience has narrowed to one of the most powerful autism brigades on the internet dwarfed only by MLP and maybe Sonic. He is really an intensely fascinating manchild to study and I wish I were some sort of real psychologist who could contextualize his behaviour for a research paper or something.

She was still best out of the four. They used the worst scenes with her for the trailer. She was the only character in the movie that came off as human. The only reason why I even saw this movie was due to me being a bus back home and it was playing on the small Tvs. One thing I hate about the movie was the special effects extending beyond the black bars from the wide screen. Also can't believe they cut out the entire scene of the bad guy making all the cops and soldiers dance and threw it into a montage of stuff going on in the background during the credits. They show him pose everyone like they're about to do a dance number and then cut away to something else.

Because Spoony is mentally fucked and extremely self centered. Obviously he just likes playing games and hearing his own voice and being a streamer is perfect outlet for him now. I don't know he's with his brother or April situation but he's not living on his own so making 1k a month isn't bad when splitting bills with someone. Spoony doesn't seem like the kind of guy that wants make loads of money and do stuff with it.
