was this movie really that bad? what are some changes you would have made? would you watch a sequel? how would you handle a reboot? how does it measure up to the current era of ensemble superhero capeshit films?what was Moriarty's tax policy?

My favorite part was reading about Sean Connery getting into fisticuffs with the director.
Also, should have stuck to the story and not have Huck Finn in it to appease us Murican audiences. Alan Moore has done other books in this series which would make fine films.

great movie, dunno why it was disliked
Best part of the movies
>All character inclusion and changes
>Tom Sawyer dynamic with Allan
>Inclusion of Dorian Gray to the team
>Hyde effects aged well
>overall character concept and motivations were good
the bads
>Bad timing, it would have been received better if it came at the time of ensemble movies (MCU,DCEU,UMCU, ETC)
>Bat villain motivation
>the villains overall
>needed work on its tone which was flat
>felt like a 90s movie isntead of 00s
Its not a bad film but its flaws were clear, still one of my guilty pleasures though, I wouldnt mind a remake T B H

I liked it but haven't watched it since I saw it in theaters
I remember them leaving England in November to reach Venice in a week using the Nautilus but when they reached Venice the city was celebrating Carnival.
it always confused me

>felt like a 90s movie instead of 00s
90s movies are comfy

It's not that bad. It's watchable but nothing amazing I guess.
To think it killed Connery's career is a bit baffling.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer but you're right. It's been a while.

The film was full of baffling decisions like that. Why were there so many roads for them to drive that car through IN VENICE?
