I should probably watch more Dolan, I liked the latest film like how it forced one to look at the emotions and you couldn't look at anywhere else which was very neat (because it was pretty much Talking Heads the Film) in the way that you had to face the emotions but then again in the end it amounts to nothing, funny. He is already gone, damn sad film.

You'd think people on 4chan of all places wouldn't try to be such mindless sheep and just talk about the most popular stuff...
>>79455864
This is very aesthetically pleasing. Also, that is an awesme poster for Empire. Good list too by the way.

It follows one character arc and has a definite structure with a beginning, three acts and an end. I think it makes more sense to call it an 8 hour movie than a show.
>>79456054
Great taste in my opinion
Do you like Resnais?

I love Confessions but haven't read city of God apart from some extracts
Still shocked from tree of life to be honest, kinda got a similar feeling to the one I got when reading gravity and grace
>>79460414
It's pretty cool when there's the moment of asking "where were you" and the creation starts up and Lacrimosa starts playing, the childhood parts are amazing, it's like living my childhood again. They're so lively and emotional in every way.

Is mid left Andrei Rublov? Also can you name the movies in the bottom row and in the mid?
>>79460875
Middle Row: Marketa Lazarova, Day for Night, The Ascent
Bottom Row: Red Desert, Pusher 2, Weekend
I have no sense of aesthetic placement, sorry to say.
>>79460682
