How do you define "comfy", /tv/? What qualities make a show or movie comfy?
just another word that doesn't mean shit

warm, nostalgic aesthetic that gives you feelings of safety and security.
comfy things for me usually have good soundtracks as well
Does it casue anxiety?
Would I like to live in the setting?
Is the pacing good?
is it non-edgy?
With this criteria in mind I'd say twin peaks is a pretty comfy show. Except for james, fuck him.
Frasier
Some eps of DS9
That IASIP ep where they try a roadtrip and end up back at their bar

It has at least one cucking scene
Only disgusting queer sons of single mothers use that word.
Easy viewing, not action-filled or with a deep plot. It's the sort of thing you could watch before going to sleep.
I propose we start using Suntory Time instead of comfy.

"Comfy" is basically /tv/'s version of: "just turn your brain off and enjoy it". Of course, the elitist nature of /tv/ means they'd never actually admit to themselves that this is what it actually means.
Pleasing to the eye, calm, slow paced.

Ever had dick in a bussy?
That's what comfy is.
>>79428874
Something that has lots of potential for escaping. It shouldn't have anything that triggers me and makes me feel bad. So no sex scenes.
