No seriously, when I go to parties I often sit in a corner with my girlfriend and think about how nobody understands me. Sure, I talk to people, shake hands, get a few hugs, but it's all just surface level stuff and I still feel like they don't know me. On my last birthday the crowd was celebrating, but barely anybody noticed me really. Seemed just like an excuse to gather and it wasn't really about them caring for me. I doubt anybody can understand how lonely this feels.
