Every character had to face serious consequences after that.

Also, the male audience wont see a male protag as desirable and vice versa.
If every director/showrunner writes the (anti-)hero as sluts, then its the fault of the female audience, since women tent to tolerate a sidebitch, were as a man its a redflag.
