Anyways story was never Cameron's forte. What IS, is action, effects, and great characters (and villains). Terminator is partly a ripoff, titanic is based on the sinking of the ship, Aliens is basically Vietnam retold, etc. The man has the highest grossing films of all time, this is for a reason. Apart from the Governator/Leo, all his movies have basically unknowns. So why do they make money? Cause they are well-made action and scifi movies, laden with great special effects and action up the ass.
