How do they pull of those camera movements
https://youtu.be/V-s9S1--1Vo
especially from 1:55 to 2:15

Its called a stadicam anon. Its a camera mounted on an arm that's attached to a harness and stabilized.
Dolly, steadicam and crane + hidden cuts.
The crane is surprisingly effective even on a low budget as long as the operator is based.
Hiding cuts and equipment via computer software is also cheap nowadays.
After 1:55 they probably switch from steadicam to crane when the camera turns away from the green staircase

Also it's probably shot at 4k or above so it can be stabilized perfectly
This one's way crazier, also involves a ton of mirrors at some point so you just know some poor Pajeet spent ages cleaning up the crew and equipment

Fuck I'm an idiot
>>79300472
I figured crane, but they also go thought the floor, up the stairs, and then at 3:00 the doggo goes at incredibly high speed. If they switch, they do it very well, and there are not to many places for secret cuts, except maybe in the hallway

Yes
>>79300472
Did't watch the hole thing, so didn't see any cranes.

Literally poetry. How does Chazelle do it?
>>79300596
Batman bin Suparman's desert fight is made up of multiple shots out in the open. If Snyder can do it, I bet some Russians powered by vodka can do it.
From Hardcore Henry and its related music video to the likes of Timur Bekmambetov directing the Watch movies for pennies with CGI by over 9000 guys working at home, Russia has some serious talent.

I like this because it's a lot of creativity for something that 99% of people will miss

>crane
Wrong. It's a drone. Are you guys still in the 90's or what?
>>79301979
Of course it's a drone. Most likely the drone is "choreographed" as well; that is, programmed to follow a routine. The drone follows it guided by it's internal clock; the humans follow it guided by the music's rhythm.

Makes perfect sense, thx
