Great camera work, easily Uwe's best. Yeah the dialogue was so-so, but the acting overall wasn't terrible. Everyone gave the kinds of performances I've come to expect from them. If nothing on this film was changed and you were just told it was directed by someone else you'd all be saying great things about it. I keep hearing everyone comparing this to LOTR, but since all three of those were a monumental waste of time, talent, money, and film and this one was fairly decent, I don't see the comparison.
