I liked Craig in Casino Royale but the character felt less and less like the Bond of old after that. I prefer the series go back to the cheesy spy kino rather than the gritty style of the Craig movies.

He's not the worst, that belongs to Dalton. He just didn't bring that Bond humor, he felt stale and presnted too much of a cold-stone killer thing to the role.

Brosnan was best after Connery. He just had shut films other than Goldeneye. If you put Brosnan in Casino Royale, he'd probably be the definitive Bond.

I liked Moore the most, but he's also the first Bond I saw. Young Connery is fugly, Brosnan looks too american, Craig looks like a water head and idgaf about whoever else is there.

Brosnan is the best all-round Bond but you've gotta concede that Connery is the best.

I like Brosnan, but apparently he's not all that sexy to women, he's just what men think women find sexy. Can any femanons confirm?

Bond needs to be irresistable to women, as well as all the other stuff. My personal ranking:

1. Dalton
2. Connery
3. Early Moore
4. Brosnan
5. Late Moore
6. Craig.
Not sure where Lazenby goes, haven't seen OHMSS for ages.

It's a shame Dalton couldn't wear his moustache but he still looked badass to me, a believable killer, and ladykiller, and was the right balance of dry and exciting. I'm sure I read that Fleming said Dalton was his favourite, and he's definitely the closest to the spy noir Bond of the books.

Connery had it all and was in the best films, but he sometimes comes off as a little too smug for me. Obviously the films are tongue in cheek but I prefer the thriller aspect to the camp aspect, though I acknowledge both are fundamental to the films.

Moore epitomised the campness, but was too old to be a believable action man in his later films. The funniest Bond by a mile.

Brosnan looks like my stepdad. Was my favourite at the time because I liked the more gritty direction he was taking Bond. I have since seen many more Bond films.

I've only seen two Daniel Craig films, he did okay, bit too serious and not enough refined British style. The films (SkyFall and Casino Royale) were too removed from the franchise as well but some of the stunts were awesome.

Whenever someone says James Bond, I think of Graig, but Brosnan always was my favorite. His movies may have not been the best, but he always gave a good Bond. I wish his movies were written a bit differently story-wise, but he still nailed the character.
