Lynch and Frost have been very secretive about the plot. The only thing I know is that Lynch supposedly has said that Fire Walk With Me is very important for season 3. I guess that includes The Missing Pieces too.

Some of the original characters now have kids that will be part of the main cast. Probably Michael Cera will be one of them.
