What'd you guys think of this? I really enjoyed it. James Mcavoys performance was silence of the lambs level good. Also, was the completely out of nowhere Unbreakable tie in at the end, shamalans way of making fun of the ever popular superhero cinematic universes today?[/spoiler/

No the twist was thought of by M. Night years ago. He always wanted to make this film
>>79109589
I felt like most of the film was average, but the whole climax sequence was amazing.
So what's his super power?

Seconding this.
>>79109589
Well considering M. Night is talking about making a Unbreakable sequel.....
I got such a theater boner during the bearhug scene. I want to go out like that
>>79109589
The very ending twist is because M Night is making Unbreakable 2 next.

>>79109875
huh, well that's rather disappointing
>>79109875
wikipedia listed Split as an Unbreakable sequel a week before it came out

the fact you think it's oscar worthy is laughable. You should feel bad OP. Not that he didn't try, but the script is beyond laughable on paper and in execution.

REEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS ARTICLE SHOULD NOT EXIST
>>79110096
is it laughable?
>>79109589
The James McAvoy character was in the original script for Unbreakable. Shymalam realized it was over the top and ridiculous so he cut it out
>>79110169
Yes. Girls in my theater laughed. Was strange to see grills laugh at an abuse movie
>>79110098
Is this your own video? Of course it is, no one would unronically post that to make a point. It's really bad. If anyone should feel bad it's you. I hope you don't make these videos with any intent beyond a hobby because they are truly laughable.

>The James McAvoy character was in the original script for Unbreakable.
Kinda ironic
>James McAvoy plays a guy who slowly transforms into a giant worm in 2003's Children of Dune
Imagine if he played the Split character in 2000
>>79110169
the movie made me laugh multiple times. Nowhere as much as The Happening, but the same brand of bullshit happens. How bout the scene where, because the old lady earlier said DID patients can change their bodies to crawl on walls like spiderman, james mcavoy just walks into a room, crawls above the door to the room, and then gets off in the corner on the other side of the door thinking it made him look like a bad ass?
and shyamalan himself talking about hooters was as bad as the hot dog guy from the happening

hi m night. Sorry nobody but losers on a scandinavian porn site remember who Mr. Glass is. Cool twist tho
>etcetera
>>79110410
>pretty cool huh
>the way 9 year old James runs out of the room when he is excited to show VVITCH girl his room
>>79109589
I thought it was good. Like above average good. Found the twist to actually be a good part of the movie because it did explain that the setting was a little less grounded then you are led to believe. The girl and the rape flashback should have been spread out a little less. You can call it from the first five minutes and only Macavoy was compelling or interestng. Would have been better to interlace the flashbacks with the psych visits.

Just got back from it I really enjoyed itbut the Unbreakable stuff couldn't have been more hamfisted and shoehorned in and all I could think was that Bruce willis' cranky ass got paid a million dollars per minute he was on screen.
>>79110581
>Entire Dance scene
>Black guys face when he realizes he fucked up
>>79110704
I liked it because it made sure that you knew that the setting was not as grounded.
>>79110707
>black guy
what?
>>79110739
it could have been it's own thing without the reference, his other movies have had ghosts and aliensdemonswithout referencing each other.
Maybe I'm just vexed that it got vaguely spoiled beforehand and its implementation fell short.
Everything else was great thoughanimals don't wear clothes Casey, come on :^)

At the end the black guard on the other side of the glass is the one she contacted earlier trying to get him to help her and all he cared about was how did she get one of their walkie talkies.
It meant that she was somewhere in the zoo and if he'd called the cops then the 3 women would still be alive.
