/tv/ I've been brushing up on art-films lately and I feel like nothing can compare to this film. Can you prove me wrong please? At least offer comparable films.
>hi i'm op and i've only seen 3 films and i feel like nothing can compare to 1 out of 3 films i've watched also i'm a huge faggot

It's just a personal favorite after watching a sampler of PTA, Kubrick, and other miscellany acclaimed films like No Country and Moonrise Kingdom.

really not what id call an art film and really not all that great. gyllenhaal's character turned out to be very uninteresting and not very good at his job. he never investigated the apartment and he did a shit job of investigating the house. he should have noticed that the car had deep tire marks behind it and had it moved, he should have found child sized finger prints in the RV and he should have followed up on the suspect he released then made more of an effort to find them once they disappeared.
i could go on. jake gyllenhaal is a great actor but this detective sucked, couldnt do a damn thing unless it fell into his god damn lap
Nocturnal Animals
Perfect Blue
The Skin I Live In
Vertigo
>art-films

Seconding this. I might watch it again tonight. Before I go to sleep. But I'll only have time for one scene, I wonder what scene I should watch before I go to bed alone in my room at night right before I fall asleep.
I like the movie too OP but,
>art film
Get the fuck out of here.

I liked Prisoners but it's not an art film.
>prisoners
>art film
It's one of the most basic films out there and most of the characters are garbage and the film is mostly forgettable.
Next you are going to tell me Arrival was the greatest movie ever made right
