OP here, I'm an aspie. Thankfully no one realizes it nowadays, but back in high school I spent most of my time in special ed, otherwise I'd get bullied outside. As such, I did spent quite a lot of time around actually medically diagnosed autistic kids, and the behavior of Ralph always reminds me of them.
