Whats your favorite oldest movie?

>1947

I can't believe this came out two years after WW2

What a dumb question. Should I put more emphasise on favourite or oldest? For example. Metropolis is old as fuck, 1927, as was enjoyable but I liked Forbidden Planet more and it's only 1956.

The 1925 version of Phantom of the Opera is what first got me into older films.

I watched this from the first time over christmas. I was disappointed because he wasn't santa. Movie was still good.

I think I saw some 80's movie where santa was on stand and he started telling the judge the toys he got as a kid, making the judge realize he really was santa. Not sure what movie that was, but it kind of ruined this movie for me.

I watched Letter from an Unknown Woman (1948) a while back and was really impressed how good it was, especially the lead actress.
