I liked the fat people bit a lot.

It was pretty darn good. It wasn't revolutionary by any means but he was dealing with a less than stellar crowd. A few weird moments where he had to set the audience straight. I enjoyed all the baseball references with Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. The cruise ship bit was good, the gorilla shit was fine but could have ended better. I think the election shit is what fucked him up. He didn't know how to talk about it with A) Not angering half the crowd and B) talk about it in the past tense as when the special was released the election was over.

I just thought it was hypocritical of him to betray one of his own like that when at least every other podcast he's talking about white privilege being bullshit and everyone having some racism inside them. I try not to let politics interfere with entertainment, but I thought Bill of all people wouldn't hop on the Trump is racist bandwagon. I'm all for shitting on the guy, insanely easy to do, I just thought Bill would try and go a different route. How many comedians are talking about the wall and the racist leading the nation? It's like making jokes about medication side effects, just way too easy and overdone.

I need to watch the whole thing before I honestly judge, but from the first 20 minutes or so (I skipped past the political part) I saw, it was mediocre for Bill bitchtits. I was pretty upset, the fat people part was funny though.

Love all of his stuff but this was "brutal." I was hyped up for a Netflix special but it all seemed like a WIP. Every story was twice as long as it needed to be and had no real payoff (which he even admitted like twice).

All of his other specials have at least 1-2 of those super quotable bits with some real insight but this had none of that.

They've been together for awhile.

I think it's more that he's just not angry anymore.
