fuck off back to worldstar
Kubo had nice visuals and nothing more
>>78934575
fuck, was I dissapointed in this movie..
started out so good but the story was going nowhere
>>78934575
The flashback scene with the mom broke me.
Basic as fuck writing. If that had you crying you have the mentality of a 9 year old child.
>>78934575
the church scene man....
>>78934896
Pretty much this
They could've at least tried with the story. I get that it's a kids film, but there's an art to making those, too. Coraline had a great story.
>>78935045
I feel your opinion, but reversed. Coraline was good but something about Kubo got to me.
>>78935039
this film did not make me cry, it made me angry that such a thing can happen in reality. also angry at the fact that mads was snubbed of any major acting awards say for the cannes. easily the best performances of that year, and one of the best all time.
>>78934575
Kubo had great animation and a good story, but I didn't care for the ancestor worship theme.
>>78935035
I saw it with my 8 year old brother, our mother died when he was 3 so yeah i cried like a baby
>>78935021
3 gave me some pretty big feels too.
Especially the part where Mr. Ping and Po's father have that father talk.
sandler kino
>>78935384
Somebody needs to photoshop a big black dick into that and edit the title to say "cuck"
>>78934959
I liked the movie but I'm having a hard time thinking where it would be sad enough to cry.
both rugrats movies had me crying excessively when I was 6 or something
first one because it dealt with a big brother getting mad at his new baby brother and then later reconciling while getting lost with the potential of dying
the second because it dealt with chuckie's mother and her death
>>78935410
Somebody needs to punch you in the nose
>>78934575
It lost millions of dollars and probably got a lot of people fired
>>78935566
nice double dubs my friend, checked
>>78935595
>probably got a lot of people fired
doubtful. Laika is just a passion project for Kubo's director, who's the son of the dude who made Nike. I doubt they expected it to make money.
>>78935039
jep, that one got me as well
>It's not your fault
>"Oh man this looks like it'll be a fun little family romp."
>literally gut punch after gut punch and the only times it isn't outright devastating it is melancholy
>>78935384
Came here to post this
>>78935893
Is it worth watching?
If you haven't seen >>78935384 yet and you want a good cry, do yourself a favor and watch it.
