But if Spoony's not getting money from anywhere but Patreon, he's not making a whole lot of cash. After everyone takes their cut, Spoony walks away with like $500 a month. I'd doubt that's enough to cover the bills. I'd imagine he's living off savings from when he was living at home/with his brother and raking in cash. He's also probably make some money off his old videos but I doubt it's a significant amount. He really ought to produce new content to continue making ad revenue and remain relevant and get new subscribers and basically keep his brand alive.

I edit television for shows around LA - there's a group of us (camera operators, writers, ADs) who can't get enough of the TGWTG crew. A lot of us started off just like they did - making movies in their backyard, but it's like they never learned to progress or move on.

Douge still makes these rookie mistakes 10 years into his career, when he's made three 'films'. His game show pilot was one of the most pathetic and hilarious things we'd ever seen - and they actually expected a network to pick it up?!

Spoony is a disaster too. Apparently he had a shot at pitching a show to Discovery. He used his opportunity to pitch a Bill Nye-esque show with Doctor Insano, and you can imagine how that went down. The thing is, he's basically never recovered. His shot at trying to get a viral campaign onto Jimmy Fallon just shows how out of touch he is - especially since I know the producers on that show reached out to YouTube personalities for research, and not once did Spoony ever enter into discussion.
