So what exactly is wrong with hitting and kicking grenades away that is so problematic to you autists? Also Hacksaw Ridge thread

It was an okay film but I doubt people did that kind of stuff in actual war. Especially the part where he uses a dying man as a meat shield.
Kicking the grenade really happened IRL.
All their objections about it not being realistic are literally in his citation.
Meat shield was a bit much but who cares it was pretty awesome.
would machine gun some Japs / 10

no matter how dumb it looks
how is that single moment going to ruin the whole movie for you?
Lets be real here, 90% of the people posting are just looking to get a rise out of the "BASED MEL" crew. The 10% are triggered /k/ommandos aka autists.

The meat shield I can understand. But the grenade thing isnt really unreasonable and people here always cite it as a detriment to the movie
In the end out of the 300 or so movies that got released in theaters this year this is one of the 30-50 worth watching and probably in the lower half of the top 10.

Probably yeah, when you list it out. A 3.5 star by the books WW2 movie would probably be in the bottom half of the top 10 in this year of capeshit and sequels.
You have to get to #20 in box office before you find a movie that was not a reboot, capeshit, or a sequel. And that movie is Central Intelligence with the Rock.

I'm a /k/ommando and i fucking loved it.
The biggest problems i have in these kinds of movies are nobody ever reloading and guns not having recoil.
But I'm not that autistic that I'd let those problems ruin the movie for me

>nobody every reloading
Yeah, like that scene where Doss is dragging his drill sergeant away from the Japs and the sergeant just constantly fires on his M3. How many rounds has he got stuffed into that thing's magazine?
>>78898711
does he lose his foot?
