Hey /trv/ I'm going to oktoberfest next month with 5 friends from Friday to Tuesday. Only 1 of us has ever been to Germany before and I want to get the most bang for my limited time there. So far we have this planned
Friday: Check-in, haufbrauhaus, Bayern match, go out afterwards
Saturday: Completely open to touristy things because Oktoberfest is going to be packed
Sunday: Reservation at Kafer tent for lunch and tent hopping
Monday: Open to tourist things
Tuesday: Open until 2pm
Do you guys have any suggestions on places and things to do in Munich or for oktoberfest in particular? any help would be greatly appreciated
Get wasted, eat pork knuckle and vomit it afterwards

One of the most visited tourist goals is Eisbach (they call it 'surfing') and another one the Chinese Tower in the English Garden.

Sorry buddy you're late, Oktoberfest was great 10+ years ago

Tell me about your last Oktoberfest experience, please

You have not been to Oktoberfest 10 years ago. You probably have never been to Oktoberfest. Most likely you are not even old enough to go to Oktoberfest. Why don't you return to other boards where the population is edgy kids like you and nobody has experience of what they post about?

Oktoberfest has not been great for a much longer time period. You'd know if you had ever attended it, kiddo. Italians ruined it decades ago already.

the majority of the people that take part in these things are tourists of your kind. all of the activities you listed are tourist traps and it will be as far away from authentic german culture as it gets. if you don't care and just want to party berlin is better in every way.
I've been four years in a row, I love the place but I enjoy the beer and food. You say you're going for Oktoberfest yet only spending half a day there? With a pretty average plan. The kafer tent is fairly small and not really a beer drinking tent. Also you say you're going tent hoping after. Alot of the tents are full on weekends so you'll struggle to get in. Also, you are unable to buy beer unless at a table in most tents, especially if you're American. I'd recommend getting there early, settling in for the day on a big table. It's a great weekend none the less and you'll have great time.
