Hi /trv/, was wondering if I could get any input from you helpful fellows regarding a trip to Japan that I'm planning. Go ahead call me a weeb faggot, or whatever, but I would really appreciate any insight you might give me.
In the summer of 2019, after I finish my degree I plan to take the entire month of June off and fly over there. I took 3 years of Japanese so I have an alright base for navigating and all that, but I was hoping I can have you help me decide my initial city of entrance and exit.
I was originally planning on flying into Sapporo in Hokkaido, spending 4-5 days and then making my way down to Honshu, headin down to Tokyo and them potentially flying home out of Osaka or Hiroshima. Does that sound doable? Is that rushing far too much? What would you suggest. Im open to pretty much any route. I'll have $10k-$15k to play around with for the entire month, including airfare, so I'm not too concerned when it comes to money. I'm just looking for you to share personal experiences, maybe drop a hidden gem or two you might've found that I should check out, and any general things you might be able to pass along. Thanks in advance
